Esquerdo ready to dive in at the deep end for Valencia CF
Vicente Esquerdo got his first run in the senior squad last season, but the young talent has been a regular face at the Ciudad Deportiva for the last 8 years. There can be no doubting his passion for the club either, as he even has the Valencia CF crest adorning his swimming pool at home.
A signing from the youth team at Ciudad de Benidorm, where he played as a striker and on the left wing, Esquerdo immediately convinced the VCF scouts. He joined the Cadete B side, and since then has worked his way up the ranks before making his first team debut. At Juvenil B level he was a set piece goalscoring specialist, then he impressed for the Juvenil A side and VCF Mestalla.
Esquerdo featured in his first LaLiga game on November 30th, 2019, against Villarreal CF, and made several appearances from then on. He has spent the summer training with the first team, showing that he is ready to dive right in when the season gets underway.
